My hp dv1000 laptop died and I can't reuse them

1. Was the computerl on, hard drive accessing, fan running etc..?
2. When your AC adaptor is connected, do you have the charging indicator ON?

DV1000 series as well as others should be recalled in my Honest opinion.. They have Multiple issues from Shorting Trash Capacitors to shorted MOSFET's and worse.. List is long as well as the ammt of units involved. (These are going to be a Big prob for HP soon I believe).. Better to discontinue and hand out a better unit..
