SOURCE: Vertical lines on projected image from a Dell Data Projector. White vertical lines are appearing at even spacing across the width of the image projected. At a loss to how to fix this. Any ideas as to

You have dirty contacts between the dmd board and the dmd chip, or the dmd chip is bad. If the dmd is bad you'll need a new light engine.

I have found that vertical lines that suddenly appear from projectors are due to poorly connected cables. Sut off your projector and wait for the fan to go off. Then unplug the connectors from the computer to the projector and secure them again, making sure to go all the way. Hope this helps.

if they are thick and shadowy, the light tunnel is collapsing. if they are thin and defined, check the resolution. reset the settings to factory default.
