Question about Spectroniq PLTV3250 32 in. LCD TV

1 Answer

Tv jumps randomley between different inputs HDMI, component, ect

The problen started a week after getting the tv and continuse to get worse so as now it jmps continually to differnent input sources HDMI ,component analog . Never could get any help from the company or shop NBC. Is this a part that can be replaced. The time starts out slow but wets worse as the tv warms up. It is not the remote control it happens even with the battery out of that. Is this switching mechanism available? Or is there a work aound I would be happy with just 1 HDMI input.

With a set that new, you should be able to return it for warranty exchange or at least warranty service. The internal logic is having a problem, the power module is not up to the task, or there are just simply a few defective parts inside. In any case, there is no reason for you to worry about this, this is the type of thing that is covered by warranty.

Try that first.

Check the input selector on the TV, if you have audio only then it is a cable problem,
that means that cables are not connected in the right way.

Video is different from HDMI. From what I have seen you should have video inputs and component inputs. instead of trying these video inputs, look for tv/component button on your remote or tv settings.

select the channel that corresponds with the way you connected it if it is component video check those inputs otherwise it could be an hdmi input. if you have it hooked up and you know for sure you have checked the input that corresponds than you most likely have a bad cable try a different cable to hook it up

Single HDMI Input. Need to connect several HDMI components

Number 1 would be to connect the 3 Devices to a Receiver with 3 HDMI Inputs, So this way you get the HDMI Audio as well. 3 in and 1 out to the TV as you know. The other way would be to get a Key Digital HDMI 3 to 1 Switcher. I have used these a lot in the field on installs and they work Great. They also have 4 to 1 if you think you might need more. No programming of the piece you just plug in and setup your TV in the HDMI Menu and your other Devices. If they don't sync AUTO! The Receiver would be Best I feel, Some let you assign 2 different Video and Audio sources at once. Such as Video from a Game and Audio from a CD. Hope this helps out!

Hitachi 50V720 No sound with HDMI - no Component video inputs

Right now there seems to be many people with the same TV problems with sony and HDMI cables. Most of the solutions are resetting the TV and sony product. Try leaving your TV unplugged for a hour to let it reset itself.
