Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
Set the washing machine up as usual for 60 deg wash, pushed the start button and machine started the wash cycle, as displayed on the bank of lights above, then instead of going to the rinse cycle, the "Water Tap Closed" red light comes on and the machine stops. If your push the start button again the same thing happens again,if you push the reset button it has no effect, it just stops.the water tap is fully open as always.the only way out is to set it manually to rinse.Any Ideas please?

Wonderful!! Would you mind giving me a "problem solved" rating -- there should be icons on the screen to do that.

Hello Friend, I think your machine will work properly if you add a water line splitter. You would connect to the single cold water tap and on the other end you would have two water hoses . Connect one hose to the cold water inlet of your washer and then connect the other hose to the hot water inlet. You can get these at Home Depot. Happy to help, Tim.

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
