Question about Jetway Pentium 4 P4MFP533T W/Integrared Video, Audio, Lan (Retail Box) (MBJWP4MP) Motherboard
Would anyone know what the problem is with my motherboard.
i am haveing a problem with getting my pc to stay on, i havnt been able to install an operating system due to the comp keeps restarting.
i have tried to install xp and it goes ok untill it gets to the part when it says "your computer will restart in 15 seconds" it does this but does'nt come back on.
also i have at one stage made it through to the boot screen with the little moving bar under windows xp but as soon as the little bar just comes on the screen the pc restarts, well turns off.
i thought it may of been the processor as someone has managed to break a pin off, i got new pro and still no joy.
ive tried a graphics card but the picture seems to get darker or goes out of shape.
also tried different memory.
i got windows 98 loaded in and was useing it for about 2 mins then it restarts and so on and so on.
im not sure if my board is a jetway or sce usa.
Try to doble check the capacitor of your motherboard or replace all the capacitor on your motherboard. Sound's your motherboard failure to supply the appropriate power needed to run the hardware.
Hope this will be helpful for you.
