A fixed gear is a gear that does not allow for freewheeling, i.e. you can not stop pedaling.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Can anyone tell me what this is. It is on a 2006 Chevy impala. It has something to do with shifting the car. Ithink it makes the box around my gear indicator work. I.E. P R [N] D 1 2

P=park gear position (no gear selected)
R=reverse gear position
N=neutral gear position (no gear selected)
D=top gear
2=fixed highest gear (used for speed when climbing an average incline and to control speed on decent)
1=fixed lowest gear (used for climbing steep incline or descending slowly)
Note-: Never engage Reverse gear when traveling forwards and never put into Park when moving forward or backwards, also towing most autos should be done no more than 10mph, fast towing can damage the gearbox, also make sure gear is in Neutral when towing.

Jumps out of second gear but fine in all over gear , some one said and oil change would fix it, the r1 is the mark 1 and is on a s reg .

"""an oil change will fix it?" not a chance,,,sorry you have a worn second gear in the box,,,but fell free to change the oil, it just wont fix it, second gear is the one that takes all the hammering when its getting caned from a stand still,, like 0mph to warp 9 in ten feet! its an old gear box now and its showing its age

Royal SC800 power shredder I need the large metal gear.

I have the SC800 apart. My problem is not fixing it. I just need the part. The large gear which appears to be made of pewter has a couple of teeth missing. If I could find the part I can fix it. It's a very simple machine. If you know where I can get the part I would appreciate you letting me know..

Sincerely;
Ken Ashley
