Hi I have a nilfisk alto that has not been working properly. It has not been spraying the water

Alto nilfisk vaccuum is not spraying water , a highpressure washer do you mean not a vaccuum .

But If it's an alto nilfisk blue pressure washer on the vaccuums topic it must be the bypass / autostop on the pumphouse its internally a point where a microswitch is placed and depends on the type of washer by a problem with the parbak ( a parbak is a oring/ with auxiliary kevlar ring(s)) that can hang on lime, but on an other model there are 2 springs on the bypass and one of them the great spring is broken or only hanging on lime but thats rare if it is.
I don't know if there are vaccuums with water spraying only for remove dust.

Im getting no water pressure on my pressure washer

Sounds as if the pressure valve is either stuck open or the spring has broken due to rust. Nilfisk have a repair kit but the cheaper Karcher ones are throw-a-way items. You don't say what make or model.

My Nilfisk Xtreme X200 vacuum cleaner will not start. The lights are workng on top but when I push start, it won't work.

Hi There,
I work as the tecnician for VacuumSpot and have done many repairs on the X200 extreme from Nilfisk. There are 2 reasons for the fault you are describing. THe first is that the machine has overheated due to a lack of cool air and has tripped the thermal cut out. This is usually as a result of using generic bags (not originals), having an old blocked filter or having a blockage in the hose somewhere. If the machine starts okay after a couple of hours of rest replace the bag, check the filter and if its dirty change it and check for a blockage in teh hose.
If it does not start after time to cool off you may have a faulty motor which is not an easy one to repair so I would suggest you take it to a Nilfisk agent to be assessed.

Hi my nilfisk alto e140.1 has just cut out i have changed the fuse its not that could someone please help because i have borrowed it off a friend :( helen....

Hi Helen,

I checked the owners manual. Here are some things you can check:

The thermal sensor has shut it down. The manual says to let it cool down for 5 plus minutes, then try it again. I imagine you've tried that already, so ....

The nozzle could be partially blocked. The nozzle MUST be detached in order to clean it. Use something as long as the nozzle, like a stiff wire or needle like object, to clear it. Then flush it backwards with water.

Since the fuse blew, try the machine without the extensions hose or use a little higher rated fuse or both.

The pump/spray gun is leaking.

If none of these works, please reply back.

I hope this does work. If it does, I'd appreciate your vote. Thanks,
Handie Andie

Nilfisk c120 vacuum - no power

The fuse is part of the motor so is not something that can be changed. Make sure that there isn't a break in your power lead at the plug.
