Question about Garden
I broke the brass fitting which threads into the top of the pump. You strip the plastic see through hose which is used to suction soap from the soap container onto this nipple/fitting. I threaded a bolt into the hole intending to bypass this hole which blows water under force if you try to use the unit without fitting. No luck because it seems that this fitting allows an appropriate amount of air intake neccessary for operation of pump. I did get an operators manual with this Home Depot purchase but unlike many other ''tools'' I got no exploded parts view which would allow me to isolate and order. I like this pressure washer but I'm having no success in finding a local dealer that can help me.
I lucked out when I managed to locate a local rent it centre who sells and services Homelite equipment. I bought my pressure washer at Home Depot and when I approached staff there regarding my problem, they had no idea if there even was a local dealer who sold/serviced Homelite stuff. telephone enquiries finally led to the rental place who ordered the part for me. I was getting concerned!
