When loading a game the screen goes red but can still see

I've been playing Fallout 3 for months now and just yesterday got the Anchorage DLC which may or may not have anything to do with my problem.

I played all the way through the new content and played a few hours afterwards. When I started it up today it was fine and then I went to send a message over Xbox Live, when I hit the guide button to return, my game screen had all turned to mostly flashing red segments, though I can still see objects and my pip boy.

The continue/load screen you get when it first loads up is still the right colors until I load a save or continue, and any of the old saved I load start doing the same thing..it even shows up on the thumbnails of the saves. I have no idea why this happened or how to go about fixing it so anything would be helpful
