HI
IF YOUR NOT ABLE TO UNINSTALL THE GOOGLE CHROME , THE PROBLEM MAY BE DUE TO MISSING OF UNINSTALLATION FILE. SO YOU JUST INSTALL THE GOOGLE CHROME ONCE MORE AND THEN UNINSTALL
THANK YOU.

How to set password on a site google chrome

Google Chrome does not give users the ability to password-protect the browser and prevent other people from launching it.
As a result, family members, co-workers or friends may be able to view your bookmarks, saved passwords and browser history.
To add a measure of protection, you can install one of several free extensions for Google Chrome that will prompt for a password before the browser will accept commands or input from the user.

Open Google Chrome and navigate to the download page for the Browser Lock extension at
Chrome.google.com
Click the blue "Install" button on the right side of the page.
Chrome will install Browser Lock and displays the Settings screen.
Click the "Enter New Password" field at the top of the page and type the password that you wish to set for Google Chrome.

Click the "Save & Lock" button at the bottom of the page and then close Google Chrome.
Open the browser again.
The application starts in an unusable state and displays the message "Locked by Browser Lock" at the bottom.

Press the "Ctrl," "Shift" and "L" keys simultaneously on your keyboard.
Type your password and press "Enter" to use Google Chrome.

Simple Startup Password Extension

Download and install Simple Startup Password for Google Chrome. Once the extension is installed, click the "wrench" icon in the upper right corner of the browser window. Select "Tools" and click "Extensions."

Click the "Options" link under "Simple Startup Password."

Click the "Enter Password" field and type the password you want to set for Google Chrome. Click the "Save" button.

Click "OK." Close and re-open Google Chrome.
The browser prompts for a password before it becomes usable.

PanicButton Extension

Download and install PanicButton for Google Chrome.
After the extension is installed, click the "wrench" icon in the upper right corner of the browser window.
Click "Tools" and then "Extensions."

Click the "Options" link under "PanicButton."

Click the drop-down menu under "Password Protection" and select "Yes."
Type the desired password and click the "Save" button.

Click the red "PanicButton" icon in the upper right corner of the window to hide your active browser tabs.
To reveal the hidden tabs, click the button again and type your password.
Note that PanicButton does not prevent Google Chrome from being launched as the previous two extensions do.

ERROR PROXY INTERNET EXPLORER

Google Chrome's connection settings and security settings are controlled by Internet Explorer's settings.

It appears by your error statement, that the Proxy Server settings in Internet Options has been changed to by pass the standard default of No Proxy Server. Sometimes Email Anti Spam Software can change this.

This should fix you up regarding the Proxy issue:

1. Click on Start and click on Control Panel.

Depending on your control panel view of Categories or Classic View:
1. Look for Network and Internet Connections category then Internet Options.
3. If in Classic View, double left click on Internet Options.
4. When Internet Properties opens, click on the Connections Tab and then the button LAN Settings near the bottom.

If the option to Use A Proxy Server... is checked then un-check it and click OK. Click OK again and re-open Google Chrome and see how it responds.

Let us know if you have further issues by using the "add a comment" link.

Thank you.

Download s not responding

Try using another browser. Otherwise download Internet Download Manager available in Softpedia.com . Also try resetting the IE .

Reset IE : Right Click on IE > Click on properties > Click on settings > Click on the Reset button > Click on close > Restart IE .

Check if it works.

Try using the Google Chrome. That should also help.
