Most likely to be a page feed problem, look online to clean page feeder rubber rollers.
Try here for the pdf manual which covers problem with jams and skewing
http://www.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00264334.pdf
It is either the toner cartridge or the fuser. Put paper in the manual feed tray. Print the Configuration Pages. When the sheet is half way fed into the printer, open the top cover. Remove the toner and look at the sheet of paper. If you see the black streak, the toner is bad. If the sheet looks good, the fuser is bad. Probably a bad roller, which you can see looking at the fuser.
The following sections describe how to load media into the different input trays.
CAUTION:
If you try to print on media that is wrinkled, folded, or damaged in any way, a jam might occur.Priority feed slot
The priority feed slot holds one sheet of media up to 163 g/m2 (43 lb) or one envelope, transparency, or cardstock. Load media with the top forward and the side to be printed facing up. To prevent jams and skewing, always adjust the side media guides before feeding the media.
Back to top150-sheet main input tray
The input tray holds up to 150 pages of 75 g/m2 (20 lb) paper or fewer pages of heavier media of 25 mm (0.9 inches) or less stack height. Load media with the top forward and the side to be printed facing up. To prevent jams and skewing, always adjust the side and front media guides.
NOTE:
When you add new media, make sure that you remove all of the media from the input tray and straighten the stack of new media. This helps prevent multiple sheets of media from feeding through the printer at one time, reducing media jams.
Hi,
Reinstalling the printer is related the Software.
If the paper gets physically jammed than its the driver setting issue or hardware issue.
Check if two sheets get jammed or only one sheet.
If it is two sheets than printer is picking up multiple sheets and paper gets jammed.
If the printer is jamming a single sheet than remove the Tray and look there is rubber roller inside if there are marks or lines on that rubber roller or if the roller roller is worn out than that rubber roller called as paper pickup roller need to be replaced.
If that looks fine than try to priny using manual feed and if the problem persists from manual feed too than try another toner cartridge
If the problem is not from Manual feed Tray that Replace the main Tray with known good Tray and check if the issue resolved.

I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy
paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print
button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it
will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I
have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there
over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this
way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps.Bud

Check that paper and paper tray are installed correctly.
Print from MP tray and check if it's still slanted. If not, the problem is related to the tray and the feed rollers for the tray.
Check also these feed roller and separation pad.
