SOURCE: keeps tripping circuit breakers bunn NHb

Hello

Coffee makers have a heating unit in them which draw a lot of current. If it is on the same circuit as refrigerator, toaster and other it will trip the breaker. Also, some breakers are more sensitive than others. Have an electrician run a separate circuit for the coffee maker outlet. Try running it in the dining room outlet, which I hope is separate from the kitchen outlets. Is the house old? Older homes have a lot of mixed up wiring.

Please get the model and code date from the bottom of the machine. Then contact customer service and provide this information. If the machine is 3 years or less old, the machine can be replaced at no cost. If it is over 3 years old, it will be replaced at a reduced cost.

Bunn nhb disassemble

Most likely is that the seal between the water reservoir and the tank is leaking. Not uncommon. If you can find a replacement seal go for it, otherwise the old one can be made serviceable by coating both sides with a thin bead or layer of clear silicone. Allow to cure for 24 hours before powering the coffee maker back up.

My bunn nhb makes a continuous "boiling" sound even after coffee has brewed.

Check with Bunn and see if there has been a recall. I did in Canada and they sent me a new machine complete with some Tim Horton's coffee! http://www.bunn.com/
Good Luck!

Need the back switch that turns the pot on to brew(carlingswitch) for model NHB

For Service Contact:
Bunn-O-Matic (800) 352-2866

They call it "Vacation Switch"

I work on commercial equipment (including BUNN), and they don't use any names like this one in the commercial line.

I have a Bunn coffeemaker and it is not that old. It leaks from the bottom when you fill it with fresh water for a new pot of coffee. The number is NHB code date is 204305. Do you have any ideas?

The brewer probably has a bad seal or gasket. By the date code, your machine is 5 years old. If you call Bunn Customer Service they will be able to offer you an exchange of your old brewer for a new one at a reduced price.
