If your using IE go up to the top right coner and click on the icon that looks like a gear. This is the toolbar of IE and then tab down to internet options and here is where you can erase the home page that AOL hyjacked. Just enter your address: www.google.com in this area and "apply" the change and then your homepage should pop up google again when you open your browser. This also works for FireFox and other browsers. regards, Dennis

SOURCE: on Google page there is a black barcode, no Google

Hey don't worry... Its simply that Google celebrates the invention of barcode... Its viewable from all the computers... View google.com today... it'll be changed to the default logo... They frequently play like this... If you want to know why, just move the mouse over or click that weird logo..

Why can't you login to your AOL mail? try not mispelling user id and use exact password (check capslock button too)

SOURCE: google took over and home page should be yahoo

No problem, let the browser window open and when it has finished loading, click on the address bar and type in www.yahoo.com hit enter and let Yahoo load up, actually just get it to the page that you want as your home page. When you get there click on the "Tools" button, the one next to help and scroll down to the bottom and click on "Internet Options". When the window comes up, the first area will be for the home page. Click on "Use Current", this will make the current page viewed the Homepage....click apply and OK.

How do i put google back on my laptop

Open internet explorer, go to settings, and the first page gives you option to type in by yourself your home page. Type in google.com, click apply and you'll get back google.

If you're using chrome, go to chrome://settings, take a look On start up, the third options has Set pages, hit it, remove any other pages and add google.com as the only pages.

Good luck.

Why has google quick start taken over as my home page and wont let me go back to my normal home page????

You might have a piece of Malware that has changed your proxy settings. Click Tools, Internet Options, Connections Tab & uncheck the Proxy Server box if checked. Also Click Tools, then Manage Add-ons. Disable any Toolbars or search providers that don't seem right. Run a scan using the free version of Malwarebytes.
