My computer does not display anything when i start. i think my computer has frozen
Hi eric,
Try connecting your laptop to a different monitor to see if it works properly. If it does, then there is most likely a problem with the laptop display assembly. If the external monitor does not work, then the problem may lie with the laptop's video card.
If you power on the computer and the display is black, make sure the computer is booting up. You can do so by checking the LED lights, listening to the fan, and/or listening for the Windows boot up sound. If either of these are functioning properly, your screen may not be working properly. You may take a look at ourToshiba Satellite LCD installation guide to help you replace the screen.Hope this solves your problem please rate my solution if it helped you.
Note:-Make sure that you are careful while working with the screen or Motherboard as there may be chances of shock if you are a novice i recommend to get it serviced by a professional.
Regards,
