My machine is poblam out of toner change toner poblam change tha toner poblam as tis

Out of toner problem often happen when the sensor is blocked with waste or toner-dust-spill and recycled toner cartridge. If you can manage to air-dry-clean (using vacuum cleaner) the housing where the toner is inserted please do so. But it is advantageous to locate the toner sensor location for efficient cleaning. I may know the brand and model of the machine to help you locate the toner sensor. Goodluck!

Error code E000024-0001

Toner gets in the developing assembly toner sensor (TS1) and may be shorting out the sensor. Blow out any toner in the sensor wiring and check to see if measure resolved the symptom. The toner level sensor has an open-circuit, replace the toner sensor.
Toner Sensor FK2-0358

However, re-attachment of the sensor also solves the symptom.

When the symptom has occurred, make the following selections in service mode [COPIER > I/O > DC-CON] and check the setting for the bit1 of [P021]. If the setting is "1", re-attach the toner sensor.

One problem found has been the toner sensor scraper blade in the developer not making contact with the surface of the toner sensor.
To check the toner sensor scraper blade first set up a work area. Lay out several sheets of 11 x17 paper on the work surface. Disassembling the developer is a messy job. Remove the upper cover of the developer and then rotate the developer in a counter clock wise direction. Basically the cylinder should rotate so the toner is scraped off of the cylinder by the developer blade.
If it is rotated in the wrong direction a large amount of toner will adhere to the developer cylinder and makes a mess.
The toner sensor is located on the on the outside of the developer and part of it goes through the wall of the developer unit.
Next look at the inside surface of the developer where the toner sensor is mounted while rotating the developer cylinder in the correct direction. There is a mylar scraper sheet that needs to touch the inside surface of the developer wall. In the image below the inside surface of the developer wall is being touched by the mylar scraper blade. If the blade is damaged or broken off the toner will not be cleaned off of the sensor and give the error code E024. If the blade is the problem the developer will need to be replaced.
The part number for the developer is FM2-0287-010.

543:K toner sensor error. How do I fix it?

Hi dianabusk:
You have a bad K (Black) toner cartridge or the sensor is dirty, the sensors are located on the toner cartridge and in the machine where the toner cartridge seats. Try cleaning the sensors and/or replace the K (black) toner cartridge. The sensors are a silver color.

Hope this helps

Replaced K image drum,K toner had 68% left,now says replace K toner.

There is probably toner spill near the sensor. Take out the K toner unit, careful it is 2 parts, toner resevoir and drum, Then clean the toner spill. The K sensor is located on the right inside wall acrooss from the k Drum. Try to clean the sensor with a cottom swab and alcohol. Hopefully this will clear it. If it does not, you need to have it serviced,Tthe sensor board is held in with 14 springs and it is a bear to deal with.

Good luck,

OKI C3200N laser printer, low toner problems

For each toner there is an individual toner sensor. There is a real good possibility that the metal contacts on the sensors have become dirty. Typically, a little bit of canned air directly on the sensor contacts will resolve the issue.

After removing a toner cartidge, look to hte left side of where that cartridge rests. The sensor is located there.

Toner low signal

Try turning your copier off & back on. Allow the machine to cycle after turning it back on - until it comes to ready or displays add toner signal again. You can try this three or four times as it sometimes takes the machine a few trys to advance the new toner to the toner sensor. If after 4 attempts you are still getting the add toner message - you may have a dirty or faulty toner sensor. The toner sensor is located inside the developing unit that you are loading toner into. Toner sensor is usually located on the bottom of the developing assembly & is held in by 2 scews. It can be cleaned with a dry cotton rag & reinstalled. 90% of the time power cycling the copier a few times will solve this problem.
