Question about Televison & Video
The tv for no reason at all just go dead and have to be switched on at the on/off switch at the bottom off the tv.Sometimes several time fliking the switch.Sometime you have to tilt it forward while flikking it on and off.It sometimes stay on for long but sometime has to be put on every 5 to 20 minutes.I checked for loose components and wires but found none
It sounds like your power supply is about to die or it has some capacitors that are about to fail.

You can check the board where the components are mounted and resolder any that look bad. a brief power outages may cause the TV to turn off on its own. If you are using a surge protector, try connecting the set directly to the wall outlet. In your case it could caused by a blown fuse, a leaky diodes or a bad solder joint at the horizontal drive transformer. all can be replaced at a local electronic or hardware store and they're easy to replace If this does not correct the problem, you may need to have your TV serviced.

Sounds to me like your internal cooling fans are not working. Try placing a fan behind your tv and seeing if it stays on longer. If it does then you'll know it's a problem with these fans. Not expensive to fix but not easy to do either.

If your tv is within the one year warranty period then call 1-800-Samsung for warranty repair. Look at your tv purchase receipt for the Purchase Date. You have one year from the date of purchase to get warranty repair.

heating up issue, try unplugging it and if you can clean the dust from within the unit. Try reversing the vacuum and blowing excess dust out.
