Question about Vehicle Parts & Accessories

You will need 2 things...a flathead screwdriver and plenty of patience. To access the left bulb, you will need to turn your wheels to the right. You will need to remove the clips that hold the plastic fender well in place just one or two depending on how much room you need. pull the plastic part down and you will be able to see the back of the headlight assembly. Unplug the headlight electrical plug, take note of the rubber seals position, then remove it. you will see a metal clip holding the bulb in place. Push in slightly and slightly up to release the old bulb. place the new bulb, make sure not to touch the glass part of the bulb with any part of your skin. Don't worry, the bulb will only go in one way because of the tabs on it. reset the retaining clip. Be sure to install the rubber seal in the same position it was removed...make sure it is sealed all the way round. Reattach fender well with the clips you removed. You are ready to change the right side. Turn the wheels to the left and repeat the process. Take your time and it will be a smooth job. I would expect the first time to change both bulbs to take 40 minute minimum. I hope this helps.
