Dell Inspiron quick press keys to restore factory settings

I have a dell inspiron that has spyware all over it. I want to restore the factory settings but the only way to do so would be by knowing the two keys to press during start up. I know there are many OTHER WAYS of doing a restore, but trust me I need to know those keys. Dell support, help center is worthless unless I pay $$$. Im a student please help. If you can find those keys I would be thankful. You would be the first, there are plenty of people telling me to use the cd or pres F8 or control pannel restore settings to earlier date. I just want the keys man, The KEYS!!!!! hey thanks

My Dell inspiron E1505 for some reason unknown will not connect to my wireless router which is a Netgear WGT624 v3. But all of my friends laptops will connect to my wireless network as well as my phone and others will connect but I just can't seem to get my laptop to connect. So i want to restore it to factory settings to see if this will help. I have windows xp and I tried holding ctrl and tapping f11 right when the power comes on but this doesn't work. Is there any other way to restore my computer without having to pay dell money?

Used Ctrl + F11 giving me the Repair start up issues which resolved some problems. But still had lots to resolve.
Used Ctrl + F8 and with the additional Menu options chose a full factory reset which includes Drive Format

I would like to reset my laptop to its factory settings but dont know how. I tried F8 key and also F11 CTRL but nothings seems to work. Its a Dell ispiron 1525.

Hi,
To restore your laptop back to factory defaults you will need the restore cds that were supplied with your laptop.
Insert the cd (or the firs if is more than one) and restart your laptop.
When the message appears "Press any key to boot from cd" press enter and follow the wizard to reinstall the operating system and restore your laptop.
Please note that you should backup any data that you would like to keep before the above procedure.

Can not getr my dell laptop to system restore

Dell factory is on the D: partion. With Vista power on and immediately start taping on the F8 key and do the system restore or marked Dell factory restore. ON XP system power on > hold the Ctrl key down and tap on the F11 key and same as the instructions above If the system demands for an admin password try just clicking on Enter.. or try your user name and logon.

Put recovery disk in the CD drive. On reboot, hold down F12 key. You should get a choice of drives to boot from. Make sure the first two are in the correct order:

1. CD-ROM (optical drive)
2. HDD (hard drive)

then press F10 to save and exit.

Now the laptop should boot correctly from the recovery disk.
