If you just purchased it, return it immediately! If you are beyond the store's return time frame, then send it in to Apple for repair - it should still be under warranty - call 1-800-275-2273

If your iPod fails to hold a charge and it's more than a year old, you may need a new battery - http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/battery/

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Use the Five Rs to restore the iPod. You will lose the data that is currently on it if you restore but you can always re-sync the data to the iPod. http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/

get a new batty. the battry problay wasnt fully filled up when first charged. When you get the new battry, go to google n search how to repace the battry for your ipod. do this then remember to fully charge the ipod up the first time. other wise, this is the limit that the battry will charge to the furthur times and the limit will slowly decrease. untill its at your stage

Apple mini i-pod

Try another usb port, but not in a non ac powered usb extension hub, as I Pod's need to be used in powered usb. Older pc's tend to have trouble powering the usb ports enough for the I Pod to be recognised. It may also be a voltage problem, disconnect any other usb peripherals connected and try again.
