If there is a new version available, follow these steps :

Tap "check update" in "Settings"
Then go to "about" and go to "system update" to check if the firmware is latest.

Steps to update :
1) Go to "Need Help?" page of ASUS official website http://www.asus.com/support to download ZIP file of firmware.
2) click the ZIP file after downloading is completed
3) Connect your tablet with PC via micro USB cable, and copy the ZIP file to the root dictionary of internal storage of tablet
4) Detach micro USB cable from the tablet to make the notification for firmware update popped up on status bar
5) Tap "System Update File Detected.." and follow steps to update firmware
Now your firmware is updated.

Accoruding to the Polaroid website, you can do this, but it does state:

IMPORTANT! Please make sure that you backup your files to a computer before you update your tablet's firmware. All content will be deleted. You can re-download your purchased and/or free apps from the Amazon Appstore (or other appstores) once the firmware update is completed.

Remember, it is very important to find your EXACT model number AND build number located on the back of the tablet before performing a firmware upgrade. Performing an upgrade to the wrong tablet will result in the tablet being "BRICKED", rendering it useless as well as voiding your warranty.

Try ordering a new charger, if that doesn't work, it may be that your charging port has loosen or damaged, have someone checkl it, luckily the parts are available on ebay, just make sure to put in the exact model number when looking.

My tablet model rct6378w2 won't stay turn on

call 1-800-252-6123 or email them at www.rcatabletsupport.com they can email you a hard reset, it will erase all apps, saved data etc.. and bring you right back to welcome as it came out fo the box
