Question about Soyo SY-P4IS2 Motherboard
If you forget or lose the password, the only way to
access the system is to set jumper JP5 to clear the CMOS RAM.
All setup information is lost and you must run the BIOS setup
program again. You can go to this web site for the manual.

Lost user password in XP with
networking setup on HP
The best way to do this is using the
Offline NT Password & Registry editor.
You can download it at the following link: http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/
This utility will enable you to reset the password of any user that has a valid (local) account on your Windows NT/2k/XP/Vista etc system.
The link above includes some directions on how to use this utility.
If it is the BIOS password, disconnect the cmos battery for half an hour or so then you can start again with no password.
Hope this helps.
