How to troubleshoot 50.4 error message on printer?

The reason is as follows:-- A 50.4 error message on some of the newer HP Laser jet printer indicates a problem with the power supply.------------- If the printer is connected to a UPS, disconnect it, or disconnect it from a power strip and plug it directly into a wall outlet. A laser printer should never be plugged into a UPS, because the UPS can be damaged by the surges of power required by a printer to keep the fuser assembly warm. If that doesn’t work, make sure that all of the components in the printer are seated properly.this will help. thanks.good luck.

Wall plug for TV buzzes

Have the outlet checked by a qualified electrician. Sounds like either a power issue or ground. You should not get a buzz from an outlet for any reason.
If you plug something else into the outlet does it make the same noise?
If yes, something going on with the power. If not, then the TV power supply might be doing it, but the noise would be behind the TV and not the outlet.

My dell studio1555 laptop is not recognising my mains lead/charger

Plug the adapter into the wall outlet or power strip. If using a power strip, make sure the strip is on. Most laptop power adapters have a small LED light; the light will illuminate when power is being transferred from the outlet to the adapter. If the light illuminates, chances are you have sufficient power to supply your laptop. Wiggle the power cord if the LED light did not initially illuminate. If the light turns on and off when you wiggle it, you might have a loose cord in the adapter, or the outlet could be faulty. Plug the adapter into another power outlet, preferably a different circuit in another room, if the LED light did not illuminate the first time. If it lights up from the second outlet, the first outlet either does not work or other devices were using too much power on the initial circuit. Connect the other end of the adapter to the laptop and turn the laptop on. When the computer starts up, you should see an indication of how the laptop is being powered in the lower right-hand corner. If you see a battery icon, then the laptop is being powered by the battery, not the adapter. Make sure both ends of the adapter are securely connected. If they are, and if the LED light on the adapter is lit, then you likely have a faulty wire that is not properly connecting to your computer. If you see a plug or adapter icon, then the laptop is successfully being powered by the adapter. If the LED light on the adapter is not lit, then the bulb is out, but the adapter is still working.

Inspiron 2305 power cord doesn't turn the desktop on

After connecting the AC adapter to a wall outlet and to the computer press the power button the right side of the inspiron. The button itself should then lite up white if the power adapter is good. If not, check the power outlet you are using. Plug in something else and see if it works on this wall outlet. Some outlets are connected to a wall switch. If its still a nogo you may need to replace the AC adapter.
