SOURCE: my high power GE Advantium microwave is sparking

Your problem is a common one. When you see arcing inside your microwave, it's because of food or liquid left in the cavity or on the wave-guide cover:

  • If the wave guide has any burn spots, replace it and clean the unit well.

  • If the cavity has any burn spots, spot-sand it smooth and touch it up with microwave interior paint.
Note… If there are any burn holes in the cavity, don't use the unit-seek help from a qualified appliance repair technician.

The fan on my general electric microwave model no. Dvm1850sm4ss won't turn off it stays on I unplugged and still turns back on as soon as I plug it in?

You might have a "normally open" thermal protector that is stuck in the closed position. Or, the controlling device (relay or triac) is defective. Or, something less probable.

I need instructions for using my Sunbeam Model # SGB8901, Household Microwave oven. Input 120V - 60Hz Single Phase 1350W, Output 900V, 245 MHz, Serial # TAB0910101582, October 2009......This is unused...

I do not know that unit speciffically but on most units, push clear and then try to set the time of day, or clock, then to use, look for a pad that says cook or cook time, and enter 1:00 to test it and put a cup of water inside and then hit start and see what you get.
