Question about GE GSH25JFR Side by Side Refrigerator
First off it started dripping about 6 months ago just a little not enough to be a problem, put a cup there to catch what little did drip.
About 2 weeks ago I had water pooling on the floor, discovered that ice maker had put out too much water and nearly whole freezer was iced over, coils down to bottom of freezer. Then I changed the whole house filter took filter off of fridge and put in another valve to shut the water off. That gave me about 4 days of no dripping.
Then it started dripping again so I closed down that valve to decrease the amount of flow to fridge, that worked for about 5 days of no dripping and now it has started in again. It appears that the ice maker is still holding it's own and not over filling when the water has been on or off HA HA. Seems like to me its a water valve issue. However you are the expert. Thank You for your time I greatly appreciate it.
You are correct. this is actually a faulty inlet valve(dual) assembly. replacing this faulty valve will fix this issue.
