Question about Televison & Video
I have to replace the Kogan remote because room mates puppy destroyed the original remote. Have purchased a Digitech Universal remote (has the learning function - which is useless if the original remote cannot function) - have tried scanning, search and NEC and Samsung TV codes with no success. Does anyone know what the TV code is for Kogan - I have contacted them but so far have not heard - thought a universal remote would alleviate having more remotes around for puppy to find - plus it has the keypad on the reverse of the remote for internet use. This TV is android, LED, SMART - am feeling far from Smart at the moment, I can tell you - help with this would be appreciated.

I don't know for sure, but this might help. I asked a question myself then managed to find my own instruction sheet. My question was about the 'auto find' function where the remote tries all codes until you find one that works and store it. Hope it helps!
This is it's instructions in case they help anyone else. By the way where it says 'a second or even a third time' be prepeared for many more attempts than 3!!
First power on the equipment to be controlled. Press the SET button and don't release, then press the equipment control button (such as tv / vcr etc). The red light will be on. Release the SET button then press the SET button again, the red light will be flashing. Press the POWER button, the remote controller will transmit a signal to power off the equipment. If the equipment cannot be powered off for the first operation, try a second or even third time until the equipment is powered off. When the equipment is powered off, the code will correspond with the equipment. Press the button for the equipment (such as TV) to save the setting.
