Question about HP iPAQ 310 Travel Companion GPS Receiver
I have a TravelMate 310. Power light comes on but it wont turn on. I noticed the screen kept ''flashing'' the last time it was on. I have had this happen twice before. I sent it in to HP and they return it stating they can not reproduce the issue. The only thing they do is flash it. You cant flash it without turning it on. Getting annoying

SOURCE: No blue light
I'm having the same problem for the last 2 weeks, i left my receiver in the car all day and since then it flashes once on startup and that's it, any suggestion how to reset the unit? Thanks

SOURCE: HP NX9600 wont power up.
The Compaq NX 9600 is rather a complicated and somewhat notorious problem child. One of HP's better ideas, and a good one when it is working.
Disconnect Power adapter from PC
Hold down power on button for 30 seconds
Remove both memory modules, Stot1 and Slot2.
Re-connect power adapter
Attempt to reboot.
If nothing happens the book says replace the motherboard which is very pricey.
