I use windows media player windows it might be different for XP and Vista..for media player 10..and 11....i know it works in 98 because i've done know when your putting songs INTO the player...and theres the list of songs ALREADY in the player...just high-lite the songs in the list thats already in the player..and Delete what the instructions say to do..1.)open your media palyer...2.) plug in your GXP player...**then when the list of the songs already on your player pops up..just high-lite them in the list of your songs...and delete works for me in media player 9 in windows 98..

I have a GPX3337 mp3 and use Windows XP. Since Media Player does not give me the option to delete songs from the mp3, these are the steps I use to remove a song:
1. Connect device using USB cable.
2. On the mp3, select "MTP"
3. Then, open "My Computer"
4. Click on "GPX Audio Player"
5. Click on "Audio Player"
6. Contents of mp3 should be listed inside the file. You may need to go deeper and deeper into the file to find the song(s) you want to delete.
7. Right click on song you want to remove. Select "Delete."

Here's how you get it
you may have to open Windows Media Player but maybe not
a screen will come saying for you to choose either NO leave all the media on the device... or YES delete all media.
click YES but MAKE SURE you have the HOLD button on OFF. if you dont... it will not work
after it completes the task click FINISH

i tried for hours trying to figure it out and that made it work like a charm! =]

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I cant change my play list. i want to change my song and i cant reset any of my original ones

Open your MP3 through Windows Explorer, open the Playlists folder and delete whichever playlist you want deleted. Edit it through WMP11 and reinstall. You can rearrange and delete songs through Explorer, but you can't add songs.
