The plug on my Toro power blower vac got super hot and melted the inside of the extension cord plug. what happened?

It appears that for some reason, the connection at the extension cord, overheated. Could be caused by: 1. a problem with the vacuum unit (bearings, jamming up, something like that)
2. The extension cord itself was defective. Could have been abused, moisture could have broken down the "contact" or the point of contact or blades of the extension were loose and caused excessive current draw at that point, overheating the device.
Or, it could have been a factory fault with the extension.

Plug your blower into a good receptacle, and see how it runs. If it is
sluggish or not coming up to speed, the problem could be in the unit.
Check manufacturer's recommendation for extension cord size and length.

A power surge fried my Epson Home Lite projector HDMI port......how much does it cost to repair or is it pretty easy to buy the part & fix yourself?

I have lost many things to power surges; sometimes it's only the electric cord (can be replaced), sometimes it's the battery (for lap tops), sometimes it's the electrical socket itself (try plugging into a different one). Worst case scenario the whole thing is fried (not all power surges are equal) now that I have everything plugged into surge protectors I only see them fry (beats losing another computer) try plugging it in without the surge protector or extension cord (if you were using one).

I lost the cord to my fry daddy and need another one

Believe it or not, a lot of appliance cords will fit into other appliances. That is especially true of the cords with just the two holes to plug in to the appliances. I also lost mine, but found that a cord works great.

BRAND NEW COMFORT ZONE HEATER MELTED MY EXTENSION CORD IT WAS ON 1500WATTS I DO NOT KNOW WHY THIS HAPPEN, WHAT CAN I DO TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING OR WORSE CAUSE A FIRE, I AM SCARED TO USE IT NOW

1500 watts is about as strong as the extension cord can handle my advice would be to buy a heavy duty extension cord made for a/c or heaters which are alot thicker than an average cord and only have a single plug on the end.

Refirgerator was connected to regular wall outlet and stopped working, was using 14 guage 15 foot extension cord--is this risky?

Yes it is risky and you can fry the compressor because of the voltage drops in the house wiring and extension cord. If it clicked a lot that is most likely what happened.
