The indicater light is red until you turn the TV on then it turns green. The TV will have audio but a black screen. After a couple minutes the TV shuts itself down and the light goes red again. Doing the hold activity & channel down buttons to see an error code it will blick green 6 times then a pause & repeat, about 5 times."

What do the indicator lights on the tv do?

Did you try a reset or unplug the power cord of the YV then try again?

Contact Mitsubishi with the proof of this and demand a new TV set. Maybe it is the service shop causing this, your warranty should also be extended for the time you were out of the use of the TV set while waiting for parts. If this does not work, the state attorneys office should be able to get you a new set or at least this one repaired. Good Luck

SOURCE: Buzzing noise from Mitsubishi DLP WD-52327 after replacing bulb

Did your replace lamp come on the screen or did you lose picture? Just because the LED indicator suggest replace lamp it doesn't mean it needs it. If your pix was dull or loss of brightness then replace it, if not then just reset your lamp timer, check your owners manual for instructions.

SOURCE: mitsubishi wd 62527 has very dark picture changed

Clean the small front projection mirror. That mirror can get dust on it and will cause the projected image to appear dull and dim and cleaning that mirror will usually restore the brightness and crisp details in the image.

Like stated before--May be another bad blub, especially if you used a generic or Neolux one. A phillips bulb WILL work right. Mits sets do NOT like generic bulbs !!

White death DLP TV

White dots on your RPTV television are the result of the DLP chip being worn out. You can replace it very easily by buying a new DLP chip for just under $190 and installing the new chip. There is a very good forum over at fixyourDLP that offers tutorials for replacing the DLP.
