There are two bolts on the rear of treadmill walking deck. these are adjustment bolts. start with the belt going 3mph. tighten the side where the belt is closest.only go 1/4 turn at a time.give it 15-20 seconds for belt to track or move over. continue until centered.

Walking belt on NordicTrack C1900 is to loose, how do I tighten it? When walking on it when u get to level 4 it just about throws u

Tighten the rear roller bolts evenly with the unit off. The correct tension is when you firmly lift up on the right and left edges in the middle of the walking belt and get 2-3 inches gap above the walking board. If one side is looser than the other, the walking belt may wander sideways. Turn the rear roller screw on the side that it shifted to in a clockwise manner(1/2 turn at a time). Test on a low speed and adjust as needed. (you may manually recenter the walking belt with your foot if it shifted too far to one side and is rubbing on the plastic edges.) You likely have a worn motor belt that needs changing or even a pulley on the front roller that is slipping and needs replacing. They all cause slippage.

Belt slipping and moving

Here is a basic procedure that will work for the majority of treadmills out in the market:
If the walking belt has shifted to the left, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the allen wrench, turn the left rear roller adjustment bolt clockwise, and the right bolt counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn each. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is centred. b. If the walking belt has shifted to the right, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the allen wrench, turn the left rear roller adjustment bolt counterclockwise, and the right bolt clockwise, 1/4 of a turn each. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key and run the treadmill

Drive belt keeps slipping off .it tends to slip off to tub end of top pulley.

This can point to something not being level or off kilter. so if the tub/drum, isn't fully in-line with the pulley system to what the belt turns round then it can make the belt spin off its tracking over time. if the system isn't in line you could gently try to pull it into line, but its going to be more of a trial and error game.
i find this usually happens if the unit has been used while not level for a while, due to the rocking motions left to right during spin if its not even on the floor it can vibrate with force casing things inside to shift.
Hope this helps.

The walking belt slips to the left when walking

There are two allen bolts (one on each side) at the end of the machine. These bolts adjust the tension on the belt. If they are not adjusted evenly the beft will gradually shift of the more loose side.

How do I adjust tension on walking belt

A good way to test your walk belt to see if it is slipping is to stand on side rails with treadmill running about 4mph and while holding onto handrails keep one foot on the side rail and put your one foot on the center of the belt in a slight stomping motion,if the belt is loose you will feel it slip. To adjust a loose belt tighten each screw at back of treadmill 1/2 tun each until the slippage goes away. Be sure not to over tighten belt as this will cause excessive wear.If the belt has shifted to one side and you need to center it, go to the side it has shifted to and turn the screw clockwise 1/4 turn at a time until it centers.
