How do I adjust FLOAT VALVE in a Kohler San Martine toilet tank ?

On the fill valve float there will be either a plastic screw or a metal bar with a metal slide clip on it. If its a screw, use a screwdriver to turn it cw or ccw to adjust water level. If its a clip, compress the clip between your thumb and forefinger and slide it up or down along the bar to set the float level. You need to test it after adjusting. Level should be 1/2" below top of overflow tube.

My ice freezes as a block when dispensed into ice tray

There are water level adjustment screws behind the plastic cover of the ice maker to adjust the water level when it refills after dumping a tray of ice. When there is to high of a water level it spills over onto the cubes freezing them into a big block. Try to adjust the level of water. There is a arrow which tells you which way to turn the screw to get a smaller fill fixing the problem.

Screws in dryer have wallowed out and need to be replaced

Go to hardware and get at most 1 size (3/16 up to 1/4) larger screw and a square washer and a lock tooth washer on the back side of the dryer and then re-tighten the new screws. Also, while you are at it, adjust the legs on all four sides to level the dryer, they simply screw in or out as needed. If you don't have a level get a plastic coke bottle and fill i/3 full. Put a board of yard stick on the machine from side to side, lay the bottle on it and adjust unitl the water is level, then do the same front to back..

One thing you can try is to remove cover, it just snaps in place. There are two plastic leveling posts at top two sides. You will need a small level commonly called a torpedo level to set on these leveling points. It should be very close to level, bubble in middle. If it's not look at base plate against wall and locate two lower mounting screws there will be a small slot where the screws go into wall to allow for slight adjustment. You will need a small screwdriver to back these two screws out a little maybe 1 turn.Adjust thermostat base so that level has bubble in middle and carefully tighten the screws, keeping t-stat held level. This should help some but it is not unusual for set temp. ont-stat to be off 3-5 degrees from thermometer reading. Hope this helps you.Thanks.

Purchased a 4 mm socket and had the necessary adjustment with the adjustment screw right above the headlights. Clockwise will raise the lights while counterclockwise will lower the lights.

How do you raise the shoulder straps up to a higher level on the Britax Marathon carseat?

The straps must be undone from a claw on the underside of the car seat so you have to remove the whole thing from the car. The claw is designed to keep the straps in place and this it does very well but its position on the undercarraige leaves no room for your hands and makes it near impossible to manage.

Hitachi NR 83A2S, Nail wont fire properly

The NR83a has an adjustment just below the triggering plunger. It is a 6mm hex head bolt with a locking nut. Loosen the nut and adjust screw out several turns and re-test. Make adjustment as necessary. I have seen many of these gun without the locking nut which allows the bolt the adjust itself all the way down. AS parts wear this screw needs to be adjusted. The pushing lever and the plunger are wearing smaller/shorter, that is unless the locking nut was missing. Remove gun from air supply for safety when making adjustments. Good Luck an email if you have other qustion about this gun.

Ice maker # S10626636 water level adjustment

IF THE ICE MAKER IS OVERFLOWING, THE ADJUSTMENT SCREW WON'T HELP. ON MODULAR ICE MAKERS, THE BIG
WHITE GEAR ON THE FRONT BEHIND THE COVER HAS CIRCUIT TRACES ON ITS BACKSIDE THAT WILL ARC, BURNING THE PLASTIC GEAR, BRIDGING THE FILL CIRCUIT WITH ANOTHER TRACE, MORE THAN DOUBLING THE FILL TIME. THE MODULE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. (GEAR IS NOT AVAILABLE BY ITSELF).THE MODULE IS THE SQUARE PLASTIC ASSEMBLY MOUNTED TO THE FRONT OF THE ICE MAKER WITH THREE SCREWS. INCLUDES THE MOTOR.

Ice maker water level too high

generally, there is a screw adjustment for this. usually, turning it clockwise sends more water during fill period (makes period longer). try it and adjust clockwise or counter-clockwise as necessary. Now finding the screw...try prying (or unscrewing) off the plastic cover over what appears to be the ice-maker unit (may also be on back side of frig.
