SOURCE: My new Singer Stylist 7258 keeps getting a message

I looked in my manual, it says that C4 means that the thread is tangled or there bobbin was interrupted forcibly. Turn off and totally rethread your machine with presser foot up, insert a new needle and try again. Do this test, with the presser foot up, pull top thread, it should move easily, now lower presser foot, pull thread, it should barely move. This should seat the thread in the tension discs properly. I have this same machine, and love it.

SINGER 7258 Stylist. How do I oil my Singer 7258 please?

One drop of Singer Sewing machine oil, or light machine oil at every part that slides or pivots. You will see some joints have a countersunk recess and a hole. There are videos in the link.

Where is the feed dog adjustment on a Singer Stylist 7258

The Stylist 7258 does not have adjustable feed dogs. To do free-hand stitching (or darning), you need to put the darning plate over the feed dogs. This plate was included in the original accessories with the machine. You can buy a replacement from many sewing machine supply vendors, including https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/darning-plate-singer-087294.aspx .

The manual for the Singer Stylist 7258 is available on the product page: https://www.singer.com/Stylist-7258-Sewing-Machine . The current link to the manual is https://manuals.singer.com/Manuals/RetrievePDF/851 . See page 8, the accessories list, and page 12, using the darning plate.

I hope this helps.

I have E7 and machine won't work????

E7 sounds like an error code. First step is to look it up in your owner's manual.
