How to hard wire the power supply for a 2.4 ghz wireless camera model 49-2535

Warning: not only would this void the manufacturer's warranty but it could also damage or destroy the product; & you should take or use the necessary precautions to avoid electric shock or any other health risks. Since the AC power cord plugs into the back of the camera, hardwiring a power cord would require unit disassembly & replacing the manufacturer's intended power cord connection with the same power cord or one rated with the same specifications at your own risk to cut off the camera plug-in, to separate the wires, & to anchor these wires to the power jack wires of the same polarity. This could require the use of a multimeter & the use of a plastic plug anchor at the border of the hole leading into the back of the unit. The plastic anchor would serve to further secure the cord to the unit & to reduce unintended entry of moisture, dust, debris, & so forth. Take further precautions if you intend to solder the power cable to the associated wires, & secure the wires at the connections, isolating each new connection with electrical tape, Plasti-Coat, or the equivalent.

New house has three prong recpticle dryer cord has four prongs. Can I use a three prong cord and strap a wire to the fourth wire on back of dryer? If not got a solution?

If the new house has an existing three-wire outlet, the simplest solution is to install a 3-prong power cord on your dryer. The following link explains the differences between a 3-wire and 4-wire configuraiton:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3575913-installing_a_220_vac_appliance_cord

So...if you need to install a 3 prong power cord, it should be wired as follows:

RED (HOT) 120VAC to RED
BLACK (HOT) 120VAC to BLACK
WHITE (NEUTRAL) 0 VAC to WHITE - a Ground wire needs to be connected to the Neutral lead at the terminal block and grounded to the dryer cabinet.

The other alternative would require you to install a 4-wire receptacle so you could still use your current power cord. A certified electrician is recommended for this job and may cost you some money. A replacement power cord, on the other hand, usually costs less than $20 and can be found ay any hardware store.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

Need new electric cord for model 7000/a lakewood heater oil filled

Depending on handy you are, the power cords for heaters can be replaced, but may require soldering or other electrical and mechanical skills. You MUST replace the cord with one that has the same amperage and heat ratings.....that goes for the plug too.

I was blowing snow with my Toro Power Curve 1800. I was distracted for a moment and tangled the cord in the blade. The cord is wraped around tight, how can I remove the cord?

unless you are able to turn the blade backward and pull on the cord at the same time no luck. it may be easier to just cut the cord and install a new one. solution one is best and both require taking the machine apart. start there and hope it works out for you.

Ps. dont forget to rate the solution. Thanks

Replacing a fraayed and twisted power cord on a Hoover windtunnel upright

ok so I took this vaccum apart completely except for the electrical and motor systems. It seems to me that without dismantling both of these systems on the vaccum you can't replace the power cord. And I wouldn't recommend taking them apart unless you know what you are doing since replacing the power cord seems to require cutting the old power cord and soldering the new one onto the old terminals. All in all its probably easier to get a new vaccum altogether.
