Question about Televison & Video
I purchased a Roku System from TigerDirect on 9/4/13 to view Sky Angel. Installed it on 9/11/13 and it worked for the short time that Sky Angel was there. Shortly after Sky Angel went away so did my Roku box. It does nothing, no indicator light, sound, or video of any kind. The power supply is doing it's job according to my volt meter but when plugged into the Roku box nothing happens at all. I spoke with one of your technicians several months ago and she said I would receive an RMA number to return it but have never received the number. Please advise. Contact TigerDirect about the problem first. If they can't (or won't) help, contact the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

If you purchased the TV 6 months ago, still under manufacturers warranty. They normally give customers 1 year warranty coverage.
It looks like the main board will have to be replace on this TV or fix to the component level.

I have a Samsung 50" plasma, that has been blacking out over the last 6 months. A 9/2005 set. Now its practically unwatchable as it happens 3 times in an hour. Its not heat related - I have a high volume 9" fan activated on TV power on. Turning the set offf/on usually makes it come back for a now short while. Considering to go put it in the back of my pickup and park it in front of Best Buy and discourage Samsung purchases. This is the 2nd Samsung TV I've purchased (the other a 32" tube) I gave to my folks a couple years ago and its gone bad as well. Samsung product may look good, but their video engineers are not.

I found a replacement Scheda power module at you guessed it, not at Toys R Us but rather at www.tvmodulesrus.com for $79. The same module is used in several LCDs, including our PowerSpec 30" LCD sold at Micro Center. It is listed under several numbers at TV Modules R US:
Scheda Inverter PWB-0656-03
