Hi,
your tv requires STK730-020 quantity 02 and you can replace it yourself if you know soldering well.
If you wanna replace complete convergence board, its available Part Store and price is $119

Convegence problems are so common on these sets. The bowing picture indicates to me that you have lost complete convergence. Now the first question that i always ask is do you have the convergence option under setup in the customer menu. If you do not then i say congratulations this is a simple inexpensive repair if you can solder a component. this is known as the fl231 problem and i have a article relating to the problem under my profile in tips and tricks section. that goes into detail on how to repair this problem.. If you do have the convergence option then we wil have to go further into troubleshooting. there are three possible cuircits that effect this.. if you do have convergence. try autoconvergence option and see how far it gets. let me know how it goess.

You probly have a covergence power supply issue. The board is not available the last time I
tried to get one. If it has a stkXXX_XXX type regulator IC it is easily repaiable. I would suggest
a professional tech to repair it though

I have a 56 inch rca rear projection tv and after two hours starts turning of and on for about half hour and then turns off. when we turn it back on it shuts off and comes on fast and then shuts off....

Those type of tv sets get unusually hot at times. Could be a heat issue. Power flow at night is the best. If it's still turning off then, it must be a dust or heat issue.

You have probably blown one of the convergence ICs. Effectively the easiest thing to do is replacing the whole convergence board, so that no soldering is involved.

Here you can buy a replacement convergence board, just select your model.

Let me know if you need further help.
