Question about Sony VAIO VGN-FE550G Notebook
I spilled apple juice in my laptop bag while my laptop was in it. The back was kinda wet and when i opened it there was nothing inside so i know it didnt get on the keyboard. i then tried to boot it and it started up with the viao logo, then the loading windows bar, then the blue screen of death... then it restarted itself saying there was a system error and to choose what mode i wanted to start in... i turned it off and then put it in front of my fan to dry... about 45 minutes later i turned it on and it worked. i didnt use it,i just turned it off. Now 2 hours later i went to turn it on and the same problem as above with the blue screen is happening. I unscrewed the back to open up where my ram is and there were a couple of tiny drops but they were on the plastic and i dabbed them off. let it dry for another 30 minutes and it is still doing the blue death... im guessing i just need to wait it out... but i dont know what to do!!! Help please!!!
You need to dry out electronics immediately after a spill power off and battery out. If not you will short something and the first few boots it will at like it wants to work but all your doing it making it worse and watching it die
