SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: operating manual

Unfortunately this is a purchase site. The closest I could get would be for an Activa 220 230 240 . You can download the manual.
Check the picture on no. 7 and see if this isn't your machine.

Hope this helps. Luck!

PS Sewusa is no help.

SOURCE: Threading a bernina serger

Here is a little jingle to remember as far as the order of threads to thread...
Upper looper, lower looper, left needle, right.
Usuall if you give numbers to the threads from left to right as 1,2,3,4 , you would thread it in the order of 3, 4, 2, 1 . Also when threading the loopers be sure the lower looper thread goes over the top of the upper looper thread as it goes out the back.
Hope this helps.

My bernina activa 130 wont sew

Fit a new needle, clean and oil the hook race, whether-or-not your manual says it doesn't need it and check that you have some tension on the thread coming out of the bobbin case and top tension unit. Are you threading the top thread with the foot up or down ? You should always thread the machine with the foot up to ensure the thread goes through the tension unit properly.

I have a Bernina 125 Activa sewing machine but no maual. How do I thread this thing?

This is a nice machine - you can download a manual from the Bernina website, here is the link you need:
http://www.bernina.com.au/webautor-data/888/0305955004_0201_a125_EN.pdf

just give it time to build the page and download the pdf file.

Then you can save it to your PC and print it out if you have a printer. It is 52 pages so if you don't have a printer, you might need to save to CD and print at a copy centre. They could double side it and bind it for you too.

Threading up diagrams are in the manual.

Enjoy your Activa, it is a quality sewing machine.

HOW TO THREAD IT

You can download a manual for the Activa 145 from here, http://www.bernina.com.au/webautor-data/888/0305295204_0303_a135-a145_EN.pdf

threading route should be the same for your model.

I have a Bernina 130, the thread from the bobbin is coming out with huge loops, the top thread looks great, but turn over the fabric and you have a mess. Any advice is welcome.

Usually if your bobbin thread is loopy it's because the TOP thread is not threaded right. Try threading it again with the presser foot UP and make sure to get the thread between the upper tension discs. It's just the opposite of what you would think.....if the bobbin thread is loopy, the top thread is threaded wrong, if the top thread is loopy, the bobbin is threaded wrong. Good luck!

Bottom thread showing through in a loop

If you had just changed the thread, try re-threading or just raise the presser foot (this opens the tension) and pull about 6 " of thread through the needle.

Foot down closes the tension to the setting you have selected.

If this does not work, the machine will need to go into the shop.

Berninas hold their value better than any other brand, so be sure to go to an authorized Bernina dealer for service and repairs.

either the bobbin thread is not in the lower tension or the lower tension is too loose or the top(upper) tension is too tight.
