Cable or Ant.. ? after the scan if there is no channels found (0 digital, 0 analog) then try with cable or Ant to see if any of them work.. if they still don't pick up any channels and the whole yellow progress line goes across.. then it sounds like the tuner on the tv is bad.. and the tuner is part of the main-board so the whole main-board will have to be exchange or repair.. contact Amergence technology they are a 3rd party repair center that service Olevia TV's and they will be able to give you an idea on the repair cost..

If the tuner was bad would you be able to watch DVD through the AV jacks? I have the same problem but I can plug in the DVD player and the Wii and the TV works completely fine.

I just purchased an indoor antenna for to view local stations. Can i use an indoor antenna for my olevia 232-t11 lcd-hdtv? If I can, what steps do I need to follow?

Yes you can use an indoor antenna. Just make sure it is an HD antenna to get the digital channels clearly. You will have to do a scan to pick up local channels. In the TV menu, it will ask you if you want to scan for "cable" channels or "antenna" channels. You want to choose antenna.

Olevia 232 s12 Accidentally hit factory reset. now no channels in list. how do I get my channels back?

You'll need to reprogram the channels.
Typically this is found under the settings in some sort of auto program section of the menu.
On most newer televisions, the setting is found under a 'Channel' section.
Just select auto program and your source, whether it be an antenna or a cable source.
When the auto program is completed, you'll have your channels back.

I have Dish Network and remote #1 and 2...the TV for Remote #2 has now changed but the remote will not work...I replaced it with an Olevia Flat Screen (used one) 32in LCDHDTV Model 432-S12 but cannot...

If this hasn't been resolved, I do have some steps that will help you out. The link below will walk you through a power scan, which will program the remote to the tv. At that point, you will be able to change the channels on the tv with the remote.

Screen shows no signal

HDTV sets are different from the old analog sets.

If your set is showing No Signal or Weak Signal you will have to do the following.
1) Connect an Antenna or Cable to the input on the back.
2) Go into the Channel signal source menu and select either the Air/Antenna or Cable option.
3) Go into the Auto Program Scan menu and SCAN in the channels.

Now you can watch available channels.
