Lcd monitor hp model l1506 is not giving out put 5v/12 v . voltage at primary of xformer is ok .mosfet k2645 is ok.no switching is taking place.is ic sc6841s is defective

This monitor is made by AOC, you can downlod the service manual here: http://elektrotanya.com/?q=showresult&megnev=hp&megnev2=%20L1506%20&kategoria=&kat2=all
It can be in the protection shut down mode because it may be sensing too much load like short circuits. I test power supply by connecting a 12v 500ma lamp to the 12v output to see if the lamp will be flashing. Another test you can try is to use the hair dryer, heat up the small electrolytic cap by the opto isolator (a component with 4 pins) to see if the lamp will stay on solid.
