Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My arrow buttons are not working on my wireless keyboard

Hi Janice, Any time I get a wireless keyboard problem the first thing I do is put in a fresh set of betteries. Nine times out of ten that cures the problem. If it doesn't then further investigation is required - howver my workshop time makes it cheaper to buy a new keyboard.
The Mac keyboard has Scroll-lock mapped to F14 but I think the wireless keyboard doesn't have that key.Are the arrow keys just not working in one program or not working at all?

How in the Hell is one supposed to understand the instructions for the IOGear GCS932UB. I cannot get the unit to detect my powered usb hub. No information is displayed when you try any function so I never...

If you trying to use the USB hub through the mouse port of the KVM make sure the mouse emulation has been turned off. This can be done by tapping Scroll Lock + Scroll Lock + m + Enter. This turns the mouse emulation off and causes that port to act like a direct USB connection to the computer. Instructions for this can be found in the user manual on page 14.

Need Mouse Driver for Mac Leopard

Without the drivers the mouse runs great. The only thing you can't do is use the second scroll wheel to scroll left and right. Instead the mouse scrolls in the opposite direction than the first scroll wheel. The side buttons can be configured within OSX and Windows for whatever you might want.

Sounds like Scroll Lock is on. Shift-F14 should disable it, unless the default shortcut keys have been changed.

Printer's MAC address

Hi!

I was able to locate this information for you on tht Toshiba FAQ section of their tech support site. Here is it, verbatim:

How do I discover the MAC address of the Brother network card?

To discover the MAC address of your Brother network card you will need
to print out a Network Configuration Report. To print this report
complete the following steps:

1. On the Brother machine press MENU.

2. Use the up or down arrow key to scroll to PRINT REPORTS and Press OK.

3. Use the up or down arrow key to scroll to NETWORK CONFIG and Press
OK.

4. Press BLACK START

5. The Network Configuration report will print. On the report, find the
section labeled <(><<)>Ethernet Address>. (Example: <(><<)>Ethernet Address> 00-80-77-90-0a-8c) This is the MAC address of your
Brother network card.

Hotkey mode

This just worked for me. Using your PC keyboard, boot up to the PC first and then power up your mac. Hit the scroll lock twice and IMMEDIATELY hit enter. You have to go fast- click-click-click with no hesitation and it works great. I still can't toggle the hot keys to set up my mac keyboard, which I prefer using, but I'm assuming it takes the "right" timing on the keys. I'll keep trying.

Good luck!
