You can also find whatever you need, for your Jeep, by searching the online catalog at
Just select your make, year and model. A dropdown list will show detailed parts from every major system on your vehicle. The transmission output shaft gasket seals are listed there.

Was told drive shaft was worn out needs rebuilt or new any 1 here of this

Rebuilding them consists of new U joints and maybe balanced. If it was so loose the the u joints wallowed out the keepers, Then yes, they would also need replaced. Cut off and welded on. That isn't a common problem, but I have had to replace a few. Not just on jeeps.

95 Jeep Grand Cherokee front end feels like it's fighting either side either way I turn cv shafts are <10k on feels like the front spider gear is stuck

Not familiar with the ZJ, but does it have a locking differential? Do they use limited slip additive in ZJ diff? If so, then its probably due for a fluid change and new additive.

Jeep cherokee rear differential

First replace the seal and case cover gasket, then top up diff oil, test to see if noisy is eliminated , because since the oil is leaking it might be running dry.

Differential gasket

Rear cover gasket is easy. Unbolt, drain, clean and replace gasket; fill with proper gear oil. Pinion seal on the front of the differential, different matter. If its the pinion seal leaking, take it to a shop with experienced techs.

Just wondering is the drive shaft is located in or around the differential- my jeep was smoking with a foul odor coming from underneath the vehicle and I was told by 2 mechanics that I need to replace the...

I own an 02' Jeep Liberty. It is either the differential, or the drive shaft.
Is it the front or rear driveshaft? Does the Jeep drive? If the driveshaft
was bad, it wouldn't move, so I'm assuming he's screwing you, since driveshafts don't smoke.LOL. If your front or rearend lube has come all
out or very low, you could get smoking from the diffs, especially if the fluid hit's your exhaust. look under the jeep, to see if any fluid is leaking
from the front or rear driveshafts?good luck.
