There is a lot of information on the vodafone site. It takes a bit of finding but you can get to a page which sends a data message that automatically updates your phone when you accept it. I have done this to set up the pxt functions. The only options available are for the m65 and those worked

GENERAL PHONE SETTINGS FOR GPRS
1. Setting APN : First we have to set one APN each for Internet and MMS respectively.
(Access Point Name) - for Internet set ( www.e.po) and for MMS set (mms.e.po)
2. Setting WAP Profiles : Now we need a WAP PROFILEwith WAP GATEWAY (192.168.81.163)
3. Creating Bookmarks : Now we need some BOOKMARKS of WAP SITES for Internet Surfing.
4. Settings for MMS : Different Handsets have their respective MMS Settings where we
require MESSAGE SERVER / HOMEPAGE and this is set as follows : http://192.168.81.166/servlets/mms

still helpless..

Restore WAP, 3G, MMS Settings | Sony Ericsson Phones

Many people are having problems configuring their phones after de-branding or after flashing it. Usually after de-branding your phone you lose all the WAP, Internet, MMS settings from the phone. And you won't be able to send MMS or browse Internet.
For MMS and WAP to function properly, you should first create Data Accounts in Phone Settings and Then create Internet Profile and MMS profiles which make use of the Data Account. For manually creating these accounts and profiles you will need a lot of technical information from your CellPhone Service Provider. You will need to know the APN, Proxy Address if any, Username and password settings. Hence the idea of manually setting up is not recommended, unless you have spare time to figure out things.

You can directly download WAP and MMS settings for your phone from local Sony Ericsson Website. Visit SonyEricsson.com. In support section specific to your country, you will find links on how to configure Internet and MMS. Visit those links, You will be asked about phone model and operator name ( like Vodafone, Airtel in list), Select your operator and provide your cell phone number. You will be given a authorization code, and in a few minutes Sony Ericsson will send you the Internet/MMS settings directly to your phone. Enter the authorization code in your phone. And MMS, WAP, 3G and Internet settings will be installed correctly. All operator based services should then work fine.

I recently bought a P168C Unlocked Cell Phone from Ebay......

The most common cause is that the Data account for the GPRS data profile you are trying to use was never
configured, is configured incorrectly, or the proper GPRS profile was just never "Activated" under the WAP settings after the profile was
created. First go into the Data account services under the GPRS settings & make sure you have set up the correct profile for your
carrier. If it is set up, then edit the profile & make sure all the settings are correct as well as the spelling is correct. Then go into the
WAP Service settings & check to see that you have selected the correct SIM & correct profile, as well as Activated the profile. To
Activate the profile just select the correct profile from the list, and tap on the Activate profile bar. Also edit the profile to make sure
all the settings are exactly correct for your carrier, as well as the correct Data account (GPRS account) was selected for the internet.
Below is the Step by Step to set it up. Works if it is done exactly.
