SOURCE: Replaced lamp now yellowish orange status light is flashing

Hi,did you close everything up,make sure door cover is closed.Do you hear clicking noises? If you do it could be an issue with the the ballast that the board that powers the lamp.Make sure fans are running ok,dust them out if they are dirty. Also reset lamp timer by unplugging tv wait 5 min and plug it back again.Good luck and God bless you!

These tv's have a lot of problems. The first thing is the power supply, 6 bad capacitors.

I have a wd52525 the status light keeps blinking

There are 3 different LEDs on the front of this televison. The TIMER will blink green. The STATUS will blink orange and the LAMP will flash red or orange depending on if there is a failure or if the lamp timer is showing over 5000 hours.

If I answer your question directly and the status is blinking a steady orange light, then you have left the side filter cover or the front lamp cover off or they are loose.

Also holding the menu and device buttons together until the timer light blinks will reveal a code that will help in diagnosing your problem. Goodluck.

Recently my wd-52327 said it needed new bulb(steady orange light). i had replaced the bulb 7 months earlier and didn't want to see the light so i reset the lamp timer. well the bulb blew the next time i...

If you have a voltage meter you can pull the bulb out and check for continuity by placing the probes on the power plugs of the bulb. If you have continuity the bulb should be good, and it may be the lamp ballast.
