The best way to get rid of the water would be to take the dishwasher out from under the ktichen bench after taking off mains plug and disconnecting hoses. Then tilt it on its side to get the water out on the kitchen floor. If there is a leakage which caused the water to collect then find source and fix it. Usually pump hose clamps, broken hoses or even the door seal.

If you need operating manual it can be down loaded from

http://www.manualrepubliccdn.com/pdf/electrolux/electrolux-eidw6105gb-owner-s-manual.pdf

it might be helpful to find details if you can provide the Product Number of the dishwasher. This should be listed on the right side top of the door.

Why water under crisper ..Frigidaire top freezer

You have a frozen or stopped up condensation drain line. Disassemble freezer to access evap coil and defrost ice in drip pan and drain line. You probably should replace the thermostat(cold control) if it hadn't been set to the coldest setting or if the fridge hadn't been opened for a long period of time prior to this problem. If the drip pan and drain aren't frozen then blow out the drain line with hi pressure air

I have a Samsung model RF4287HA French door refrigerator. Has anyone had success cleaning the drip pan located at the bottom rear of the refrigerator? I know that this pan can't be removed, but I can'

Hello Derek;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

In answer to your question, the drain pan is removable. This drain pan is available for purchase. The problem is both Samsung and LG are not service friendly. The drain pan is not secured with fasteners and just lifts up.

However, There is the interference from the seal system (refrigerant) tubing and compressor which prevents you from pulling the drain pan out.

On my service calls with drain pan leakage, I just repaired the drain pan with duct tape an silicone adhesive. Because I could not get the drain pan out with out moving the compressor.

Both, Samsung and LG are the worst service friendly and highest cost for repair.

Inside of the unit is a drain hole that will drain out water to the drip pan. The drip pan is located under the unit and it uses the heat of the motor to evaporate the moisture that collects in it. The drain hole is plugged. Go on youtube and you can watch a video on how to fix it. Very easy.

Mostly the drip-pan can't be accessed from the front.

The drip-pan isn't.
It is in fact an evaporator. It collects the considerable amount of water from the auto defrost function and holds it until the heat from the motor and compressor can evaporate it. The water is transferred from the inside by a drain tube.

A blocked drain tube is not unusual and is generally fairly simple to clear. Often it is a stray vegetable that causes the trouble and sometimes it is a buildup of ice. If the water cannot escape a wet floor is usually the result.

Our fridge recently suffered from the same trouble. I used a plastic covered wire coat hanger to clear the drain of ice - very carefully...

Maytag Fridge MFF2558VEM is leaking water from bottom of unit. Suspect a clogged drain hole. Need to access the drip pan and clear drain hole. Drip pan is not behind the toeplate grill at the front

Fridge has a design issue. Duckbill drain valve clogs. They have a new ptrap drain replacement but you have to ask for it, as customer service will deny a problem exists. Here is the service bulletin which was supposed to be for internal use only! https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzIiBNwRIV4NNWJNNmx0andROGs/edit

My drain pan is leaking

You need to access the evaporator coil on the inside of your air handler and unplug the drain for the condensate. It should be the 3/4 inch line, if the 1/2 inch line is capped then it is not doing anything and has probably been abandoned.Open up the unit and clean the drip pan and drain hole where the 3/4 line starts. This should clear up your water leak problem.

The drain pan may be accessible from the back. An equal portion of bleach and water should kill the smell. Make you wear gloves and use a fan to ventilate the area before and after using the bleach solution.

Water leaking from refrigerator

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

If you just want to clean it you may can access it from the rear behind the cardboard backing. If it's overflowing your water filter may be stopped up or you may have had an excessive amount of frost one time.

Puddle keeps appearing under my hotpoint fridge

There is normally a drain pan under the refrigerator. The defrost water is supposed drain into the pan and be evaporated by air circulation over it. Check and make sure the hose is directed into the pan. You can access the drain hose from the back by removing the lower panel. Don't forget to replace the panel after you finish.
