Most units of this type have a "dimmer" for the display. Have you checked this? If you have the product manual, there will be a section in it detailing how to change the setting. If you don't have the manual, download one the Bose website.

Samsung front loading dryer the display shows rotating circle rather than time remaining

Rotating blinking lights in the display is probably an indication that the Wrinkle Prevent option has been selected. Wrinkle Prevent will continue to tumble the dryer without heat after the cycle has ended to help prevent wrinkles from setting in. When this option is selected by pressing the Wrinkle Prevent button on the control panel, the display will count down the estimated cycle time; when the cycle ends, the display will show lights blinking in a circular (or actually rectangular) motion.

To deactivate, simply press the Wrinkle Prevent button again so the light is not illuminated.

Display has very light illumination and does not display temperature or other settings. All functions seem to work but functions are not shown on display including temperature, Bake/Broil cycle, etc. Time...

This is a failure in the electronic range (or oven control) ERC or EOC. You can replace it with a new one, or have it repaired.

My Sony CDX-C680...

Hello greggerika,

It's possible that the "illumination" wire is not connected or connected improperly. It's also possible that the front panel electrical connections are not making proper contact. Remove the front panel and gently clean the contacts with a pencil eraser.

Also, the CDX-C680 allows you to select either green or amber illumination. One or the other may be defective. Try changing it. Press SHIFT - press "3" (set up) three times - press "5" (right arrow) to change the setting. Also check the setting for "dimmer". ON will result in a dimmed display at all times. AUTO will dim the display whenever the headlights are turned on (if the wiring is connected properly). OFF will result in the brightest display at all times.

Hope this helps.
