Question about Washing Machines
On the drain tube cant get the cap off
The detergent compartments for bleach, softener, and liquid are usually siphon activated. Remove the dispenser drawer by pulling it out all the way and depressing the release tab. Remove the compartment siphon caps and check that all parts are clean and free of debris, gunk, or grime. If the problem is still present, low rinse water pressure can be a likely cause preventing the siphon from working properly. You can manually activate the siphon by re installing all caps in the drawer, hold the detergent drawer over the kitchen sink, and pour a glass of water into each compartment till it overflows, wait to see if the respectively filled compartment then drains all but approx 1 teaspoon from it's self. If so your dispenser is fine. If the cap on the drain tube is the one at the bottom behind the access door that you are trying to remove, you should only do this if there is a need such as the unit not draining the water completely from inside the basket of cloths, or if you receive a long drain error. Inside the dispenser drawer, at the bottom there is a tab that you can push down to remove the dispenser drawer. Remove the drawer and check if the dispenser holes are clogged, this is a common cause.

As for the softener compartment, powder tends to overflow and block the three drain holes. It needs removing and thoroughly cleaning out, i use cotton buds and lots of hot water.

The water is left there because the syphon action is not working in the dispenser, what you need to do is to remove the dispenser drawer completely and thoroughly clean the conditioner compartment, poking any holes or tube, particularly the syphon tube with a piece of flexible wire or similar to ensure it is completely unblocked.
. to test, fill the conditioner compartment with water, and it should slowly empty itself, if it does not, then it is still blocked.

Try lifting the drain outlet higher than it is, if it is too low the water will syphon out as it is filling, there by causing the problem you are experiencing, if that does not solve the prob, then it sounds like the pump is on all the time, this being the case, then it would appear that it has a faulty programmer.
Plz rate my solution.
