Hi,

If this is a genuine watch then its faulty and the environmental seals are letting rubbish it.

I took a shower with my breitling for bentley motors watch and the crystal is foggy from the inside

Try putting it in a warm place (not very hot) for a day or so. An airing cupboard is a suitable place.

I bought a Breitling Superocean Chrono (A13340) from "Sakal" duty free shop at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv Israel on 9-12-2010. The "attestation de chronometre" certificate number...

One other note.

The COSC number generally refers to the movement number not the case number.

Inspect the hang tags that came with the watch.. the movement number may be referred to on one of them... or to the COSC certificate.

Otherwise the only way the movement number can be viewed is to remove the back.

Watches have several numbers.. reference and serial.

A - Stainless Steel

13 - Caliber

3 - Certified

40 - Model (Super Ocean)

The case will have a number the movement and the bracelet.. the crystal etc etc.

When you have the watch serviced.. have them write the movement number down for you.. for comparison.

Good luck!

I have a Breitling watches 1884,it was presented to me as birthday gift, but i dont know its manufacturer code number, and its price.Description of it is a 4 cardinal North ,south ,west ,east,it has both...

There will be a model and serial number on the case back. The numbers are small 1884 is the founding date of breitling and is on all backs. The watch is no doubt valuable, breitling watches retail from £1500.00.Most high streets will have a stockist and they will be happy to provide the latest price. If you need any repairs return it to a stockist when under guarantee or if out of guarantee see www.rolexrepairs.co.uk for expert repairs and servicing.

Where can I get an instruction manual for my Breitling Watch?

You can't. At least not with out some effort. Breitling is paranoid about rip-offs.By that I mean someone gets an original manual and boxes it with a fake breitling and.....WA LA.....rip-off.

The best way to get one is click the link below and locate a service center nearest you and get it though them.

Most owners won't part with theirs and they are difficult to scan so it's about your best/only option.

Good choice by the way I don't know what model you have but I love my Colt Chrono.
Hope this helps.

You could check for an owners manual at the link below or at least it's a starting point.

My breitling chronomat stops working even while its in a watch winder.

Every mechanical watch must be serviced within 2 - 7 years depending on what movement is is fitted.
Find your nearest watch repair shop and as for overhaul ( this is how we call full service of any watch).
Reasons for stopping can be numerous, but usually it is gummed oil, dust particles, and wear and tear.

Rate me, please.

Real or Fake

check a bunch of things...even great fakes slip up on one or two details

check the luminous markers, are they painted well?
check the bezel luminous marker, does it match an authentic?
check the wing logo on the dial
look at the font for the date
look at the band pins (they should be screws-round or flat depending on model)
check the crystal, should have no reflection and a purple hue when viewed at an angle
under the lugs will be a date etched in to the case
the bezel will have a small "B" etched in between 11 and 12 on the side, not the face

Bottom line, unless you have paperwork in hand and a verification that the seller bought it from Breitling, you are probably looking at a fake
