Question about Samsung BDC5500 Player
1. Pressing the FF on the Player is not possible as there is no FF on the box. 2.Have tried to unplug, press on and hold for 20sec, and pressed eject, but LCD still reads open and closeopen and close

Without knowing more of your specific situation, it sounds like the disc is physically stuck and is blocking the motor mechanisms from ejecting. There should be 1-2 screws on each side & one at the rear of the player to remove the outer casing. When you open it, any obstructions should be obvious. The screws should be easy to figure out with an arrow pointing to them stamped into the medal, kindof looks like: =>

Look for the small hole in your dvd rom. This hole usually can fit a paper clip. Push and hold the paperclip inside the hole to open the dvd tray.
