Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
Yesterday morning I could print out figures that were shown in red on my computer. On the print outs these number would show as black with brackets. However, in the afternoon when I printed out the same schedules, there were blanks where the red numbers should have shown. I only use my black cartridge and this hasn't been a problem in the past.
On the silver plate, on the right there is a green light. There are 2 icons. The one on the right is not lit up, but the one on the right has been lit up probably since I got it. So that hasn't changed. I took out both cartidges and put them back. Still no change.
What you are describing is a software application issue, not a printer problem. Black in brackets is an alternate way of showing negative numbers. I recommend looking at the setup and options in the application program that you are using and check specifically print formats for negative numbers.

Confirm there is no orange tape across the top of the ink tank
If the orange tape is as shown in Figure (A), it is properly removed.
If the orange tape is as shown in Figure (B), remove the remaining tape to the level shown in Figure (A).
Make sure each ink tank is snapped into the printer.
