Indesit WG1234T washer drum not turning

hi the sound of things, the brushes on the motor are worn out.easy to replace, each brush is secured by two screws at the rear of the motor, and will be black in colour,or a reddish may be easier to remove the motor to gain a cheap set from ebay,as generally speaking a repair and spares shop will ask four times the going rate.anyhow, once removed there should be at least 7mm of carbon left to make contact with the commutator(the part of the motor that turns)
hope this helps, belt could have snapped or come off also....

Washing machine

sounds like you have something stuck in your pump. I know it sounds strange that it more than likly does not make any noise in the drain. But i garrenty you there is a problem within your pump. Tilt the unit back and prop against the wall. DO NOT TIP ALL THE WAY OVER! you will see the pump it has 2 clips unclip them take the 2 hoses off and remove the pump. water will come out so be prepaired with towels. look inside the pump there will either be money in there or a bra wire. MAKE SURE YOU TURN THE POWER OFF FIRST. Let me know how it goes

Lost bra bone in washing machine

I happen to find these in the water pump or just bellow the drain hose from the tub. If not carefull, these can puncture the door boot, if front loader.

Terrible scraping noise from drum, what is it?

more likely there is a bra wire caught between the inner drum and outer tub, possibly wrapping itself around the element in the bottom.
